Kruidvat now has a range of smart home products in stock, including a WiFi-enabled smart plug. The products work together with Google Home and Amazon Alexa.

The store, which normally does not deal with smart products, joins a growing list of stores vying for this niche: HEMA, Action, Lidl and now Kruidvat. The Kruidvat Smart Home contains various products that can help you manage and monitor your home. You can use these devices to track your family and ensure that your home remains safe. The Kruidvat webshop offers dozens of smart home products. The products are divided into five main groups: smart lamps, smart plugs, smart security (including doorbells and alarms), smart security cameras and sensors and actuators.
Kruidvat smart smoke detector
The Kruidvat Smart Smoke Detector can be linked with the Kruidvat Smart Home app to alert users via the smartphone when it detects smoke or heat. The smoke detector easily connects with 2.4 GHz Wifi networks and does not require an additional hub.
Kruidvat Wi-Fi booster
The Kruidvat Wi-Fi extender is the ideal solution to get a good signal in rooms or areas of your house where there is otherwise little or no signal. The device then simply passes the wifi signal to this space. Connect the booster to a socket near your router. The prices for the smart lights range from €4.99 to €24.99. The lamps communicate via WiFi (2.4GHz), which means they can connect to your existing router without the need for a separate bridge. This makes them a cost-effective alternative to Philips Hue and Innr smart home systems, which require a bridge. The lamps support both the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice control platforms.
